Hi Lisa - welcome officially now too. Justine says she is trying to get you have a weim next time. Looks like you have your hands full at the moment anyway so it could be a while off.
I love pointers. How do you think they compare to weims, intelligence, temperament etc....??

Welcome to the forum Lis and all the Pointer pupsters. Les, when you've got as many dogs as we have between us, one more doesn't really make much difference.

I s'pose not.
I was chatting to Alister tonight about a pup in about 3/4 years time. I don't want to be left with an empty house ever again. I always shied away from a pup because it was darned hard work last time. I feel better equipped now and more confident with training a youngster. Also Alister will be closer to retirement to help out with the work load.

Also Alister will be closer to retirement to help out with the work load. Welcome Lisa from Louis, Scampy (the cat) and me from sunny Spain!!! Les, workload? What workload would that be? Surely you are not saying that a pupster is loads of work???

Les Pupsters and rescues give totally different feelings....having had four of the blighters (pupsters) I would say the work load is about the same, just directed to different kinds of needs. Sorry for the small hijack Lisa, From one newbie to another welcome
