Just wanted to introduce myself here! My name is Ryan and I am a Weim owner from the US (State of Michigan). I am active in hunting for titles on my weim and as for personal enjoyment with one of the best hunting buddies a person could ask for!
Would like to say, this is an excellent forum board and I am glad I found it!!!!!

You can post the pictures of your dog here in the introduction section or in PICTURES section (if you've got any problems with posting it read the first two threads in the pictures section- this will help you a lot). I'm looking forward to your pictures!

How old is she? She's a beautiful girl. Do you sell the Turkeys or stock the freezer with them?
Oh btw I am owned by Holly who is 6.5. We got her when she was 5 years old as a rehome. Can you imagine anybody giving up their girl after that long. She has a lovely temperament until she meets two particular dogs around here. We renamed her as she was born on Christmas Day, a Millenium babe too. She is our second Weim.

Hi Ryan and Sky, Welcome from Germany. I have a 9 mo old weim named Falko.. He is also into hunting and we are getting some great training from one of the German Weim Clubs. Falko much enjoys all his training and his hunting. Right now in Germany it is little deer season and in the fall, Oct. we will start with Rabbit and Marten. Enjoy all the threads and post often, we love to read about our breed and their journeys! Great pics of Sky btw.. jai and falko

She will be 5 y/o later this month! She will also be having her second litter of pups at the end of July! Just confirmed that she is pregnant with an ultrasound on Tuesday...did not get a good count due to her being a bit squirrelly on the table! LOL
The Turkeys are for the freezer...well they never made it that far...went into my belly the next day! That was her first experience with Turkeys! I normally hunt Grouse, Woodcock, Pheasant, Goose, and some duck. She looked at me and the look on her face said it all..."You want me to carry this?" LOL The bird weighed 28lbs! hahaha!

Kinda odd seeing Weims with the full tails! They look like they can be painful (if getting whacked by a happy dog)!

yes.. his tail hurts when he whacks you with it.. and it also can bruise and split. Imagine being hit in the back of the leg with 1-2 inch round stick. now put a little bit of fur on it.. that is how it feels.. lol
