OUCH...sounds like that would quite the beating! I will keep the tails docked...less pain and torture from a happy dog!

Hi Ryan, your girl is so lovely and so strong! She managed to carry those huge, fat and certainly very delicious turkeys! Or maybe you helped her a bit? Congratulations on the pups coming! That's just great. Magda&Blaster

A belated hello and welcome from me and my 2 LHs. For info, being hit by a LH tail is better and worse. Better - there's padding, and definitely worse, if it's the old girl, and all her tail-feathers are wet! yuck!!

Thanks everyone! Just wanted to update the litter! She is being stubborn about having them! They were supposed to be here on Monday and it is now Wednesday! She looks like a HUGE stuffed SAUSAGE! Poor baby! We have confirmed 4 for sure with an x-ray and there were 2 fuzzy images that could be pups that were under the others at this time. So, I am thinking 4-6 is what is on the way!!! ANYDAY NOW!!!!

The first one was the hardest one she had to deliver - that pup was 1lb (US weights) - They all were delivered breach and the first one Sky had a hard time delivering the shoulders and head - at 1 pound that was a big puppy!!!!
Thanks everyone! Will keep you all updated!!!!

Congrats on the new pups! Thanks for the link for the video. Les, when our little mixed breed had pups a long time ago, I kept Jocelyn home from school because she was so interested! After the mess is cleaned up and the pups settle they are a joy.. then they start to explore and add to the mess.. Good Luck Ryan, jai and falko
