walk in the wood

My daughter and I took Falko for a walk today in the wood. He turned 9 months last week and so we took some pics. He did his first actual point recorded on camera.. looking for a mouse of course. This wooded area has many trails for bikes, runners and horses as well as a gun club not far. Today we picked the exercise trails, so you see him and I trying to jump the logs. He had a great time.. btw, it was terribly cold so we are both wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts, since the wind and the rain has been going on for days now.

Yes, we had a great time!! He really loves the great outdoors.. Tonight we found a hedgehog, which we brought home to show the girls.. I will post some pics when I can

Falko looks just like our Kika And I can see he can run really fast...every evening Kika gets this "running attack" when she's runnung in big circles like a greyhound

Hey Jai, I was wondering how your boy is now? Back to normal again?

Hi Mar.. I am hoping he is back to normal.. we had some tests done to see what was happening with him. He broke out so terribly and quickly he was very close to anaphalactic shock. I had gone to the vet 3 times that week.. twice in the same day when he was at his worst. We are hoping that it is the caterpillars here.. I just received word this past week that there are several nests near one of our dog parks, close to my house. He is still taking meds, but Wolfgang and I are looking into it.
Thanks for asking.. and he is doing great on the meds..Now if I can control some of the behaviors that come with being inside for so many days.. LOL

I didn't realise he had been off colour. Hope he is on the mend. They like to keep us on our toes don't they.....
