Hi We live in a very rural part of Yorkshire, with our family of 4 weims, 5 labs, 2 cats and 4 horses.
Most of all our animals are family pets but we do show 2 of our weims, Lizzie (3) and Spartacus (2), both have qualified for crufts 2008. Pippa (5) was our 1st weim. Fallon came to us as a re home last Xmas. Ruby (Choc 7 months) will be trained to pick up on our local shoots. Wendy (Choc 14) is our oldest dog, Ben (yellow 12) and Alice (Black 12) were kept from our very 1st litter. Millie (choc 5) is mum to Ruby. The cats Paddy and Molly, are brother and sister and were rescued from an unwanted litter bred on a farm destined for the bottom of a local pond, they both live indoors. The horses do live outside, but love coming up to windows to watch telly and see what everybody else is up to. Gemini is 25 living out his days in the Paddock, Charlie (12) is an ex race horse having come to us instead of being pts at the end of race career, Hannah (20) is an Irish Draft and still enjoys hacking out, Lacy (12) is a magnificent Grey hunter.
This forum looks like a great place to share experiences.

Hi Gummy and HUGE family and welcome to the forum from me and my rehome Holly who will be 7 on Xmas Day. I'll no doubt see you at Crufts then as I have been asked to run the WA stand. What's the horses' favourite programme. ;D

Hi Elaine,
How are you all doing? How is sully?
Elaine is currently fostering a rescue weim for me.
Lizzie is Kidmal Limerick Lady, litter sister to my Morgan.
Glad to see you have joined our "little" group. we are a friendly bunch with lots of input from all over the world.
Lynn

Hi ya Sully has got used to our lifestyle pretty quick. Yes he is a typical weim, loves his place on the sofa, but space is tight with all the dogs in. Socialising is going pretty well, he is getting the hang of the cats, he is inquisitive but has learnt not to chase the cats but he will follow them. Toilet training has been easy, he knows the routine, going outside means toilet, waking up means go to the door to go outside. He has his own crate, which he loves, he gets sanctuary from Satan's Spawn (aka Ruby) and a chance for some rest. We will be sad to see him go. John

Welcome to the board!!! Nice to have you join us.
Let me guess------old reruns of "Mr. Ed"? LOL
("Mr. Ed" is an old US 1960's television series about a talking horse named Ed and his owner Wilber---who appeared to spend more time in the barn than he did in the house. It was as corny and silly as you can get, but funny. They still show reruns occassionally on some of the cable channels.)
From Lynn:
GOOD FOR YOU ELAINE!!! I'm sure Lynn can use all the help she can get---and it is wonderful of you to help. Thanks.
