Just home from 2 weeks of hunting

Atlas, Haavard (my husband) and I have just come home from 2 weeks hunting. We have had a fabulous time and Atlas has been great. I am sooooo proud of him. He's been a joy to hunt with. Here is a link to an album of our hunting pictures.

(In some pictures there are two Weimaraners. The bitch is "Mira". Mira and her owner joined us for a couple of days.)

We are home for a couple of weeks. Atlas needs a rest after hunting 14 days, but in early October we'll go hunting again. Hope you enjoy the pictures. As they say "pictures can say more then 1000 words"

Your pictures are just great Ingvild! Thank you, I enjoyed them very much. WOW, that scenery is spectacular. It looked chilly--although I think you are about the same latitude as Latvia, were you much further north there, or perhaps at a high elevation?
And Atlas!, LOL, he has such a proud and noble look--and is REALLY the poser isn't he? Does he charge you for the privilige of allowing you to take his picture?

LOL, he does look very proud doesn't he

We were at around 900 meters. It was quite chilly for September. We just got back from a few more days in the mountains and it was warmer now then it was in September.

You must have had loads of fun! We are not hunters ourselves but miguel (my husband) and i would not mind spending 2 weeks hiking in the lovely places you were at.
