Bill went hunting today on a special invitation from 3 hunters. So Ronny (my husband) drived 2 hours to hunt from 9.00 AM till 17.00 PM. I just heard my husband by phone, and he told me the hunters were full of praise to see Bill working. Actually, I would not expect otherwise, but I think it's nice that 3 different people could see him working and could judge him. For the same mather, he could not have his day..... They shot today 5 hares and 18 (!) pheasants . All with help from Bill. The last hare was lost, the hunter could not find him, and they used Bill to track him. Bill found the hare, the hare took of and Bill stayed without running after the hare. The hunters couldn't believe there eyes, they said never seen this before on a dog.
Once again, I'm very proud of our boy...

Congratulations on Bill's performance Kobie--and you have a very impressive website. Do you also call Bill, Buddy, or are they two different dogs?(sorry, got me just a little confused on that)

He is a dog in a liftime .... He has incredible birdiness and loves to work, doesn't like showing that much.... And last but not least, he has a fantastic character. Very obedience, soft in character, incredible will to please and a very clever dog

Kobie, when your dog stays and don't go after the hare, in Germany you get a special sign on your pedigree, but a judge is needed to see it. It's a hard job to teach your dog to stay when a hare comes up. Well done Buddy!!!! They call it a "Armbruster Haltabzeigen". AH.
