Finally, Finally, finally...

Hi!



Finally, finally, finally Allegro and I did make our first hunting expirience and I finally made some photo-shots in the field.
It was so hard (and risky) to do both at the same time (as the priority was to teach Allegro to be steady when the bird flies away etc...), but somehow I made it!!! With great results, so that now I can finally share my joy with you.
We went for a hunt on quails with a GSP breeder who has top winning GSP's at field trials. So Allegro was learning from two adult, expirienced bitches and one male who is the same age, like Allegro.
Allegro had a chance to hunt, point and retrieve 3 quails.

Superb photos! Allegro looks like he is having a wonderful time. And the GSPs are beautiful too! The "Wait, dear...I've got it !" pair of photos is just great!
Allegro cuts a fine figure in the middle of that tall grass. Congratulations on the photos and on Allegro's first hunting experience.

Do you think he'll want to go again if you ask him?(LOL, stupid question huh?--just make sure you aren't standing between him and the door when you ask--you might get hurt if you are)

Hahaha! Yeah, right! He would yell at me, like he always does if I torture him with questions like: "Would you go? Shell we go" and than I let him wait. I am 100% sure, I might get hurt if I mention to him we might go there again... He already knows where we are going by the way I dress myself and what things I am preparing for the field and/or water training or if we are going to the show... Clever boy. Than he barks at me, argues with me... Tryies to jump on me out of joy! Sometimes i get hurt as he scratches me... He is soooo exuberant....
He is now in heavy puberty - driving me crazy!!!! I hope I will survive and go through this phase with less stress and that it will end up soon with positive results for me and for Allegro...

I just got an e-mail from Allegro's breeder Ingrid that a webmaster told that Allegro has broken the record on the www.weimaranernobiskrug.com.br - the dog with the biggest number of fotos in the Internet (104 photos)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hehe, I had to laugh. I would say, Allegro has the greatest breeder that loves him very much and cares a lot. And that's why she has so much photos of him on her site.
