Today Duncan, Anya and I set off to do a little training. We had been given a pheasant from a dear friend, and we took it from the freezer. We went out, and what we planned to do wasn't really working, because we were doing something wrong - not Anyas fault, we just didn't train her right. However, we continued on our walk, and we found a pond. Anya jumped right in it!!!!!! We couldn't believe it, we encouraged her in again, and in all she swam at least 5 times accross the pond and back, going from Duncan to me and back again. We were so proud of our girl. Then we took her and the pheasant home and let her have a little training session encouraging her to hold the pheasant. Again she did what we asked!!!! It helped that she had a little competition for the pheasant, but it is a great start for Anya - we are very proud of our girl. Thanks AGAIN to Magda and Kriss for this sweetheart xx Nina
