Bill Thrown Out

Yay for common sense.
I have just heard that the Anti Docking Bill under discussion here in New Zealand has been thrown out. In other words the government has more important things to vote on than this!!!!!

Are you really happy with this?
If so, I don't understand it.... why would you be happy to dock the tail of a dog if it's not really necessary (from a medical point of view)? Isn't it a bit "out of date" to mutilate a dog - to cut off a perfectly healty part of his body?
