Well 3 days early Halley (NZ Ch Ashlaren Queen of Hearts) has produced 11 pups by AI to Oska. 4 boys and 7 girls........totally amazing. Full credit to the Vet who did the procedure and guided us thru it well (Stuart Badger) Mum and babies doing well, not so sure about me tho as I had been up for 24 hours previously delivering a human baby!!!! Good thing she only took 4 hours. Cyd Welsh Greyflyte Weimaraners

Big litter. I bet you are tired out now. Well done to your girl. Who did you breed her too? That was a big litter for AI ? Rachel

Full credit to the Vet who did the procedure and guided us thru it well (Stuart Badger) At last someone who credits the vet for the work they have done! Hardly anyone in the UK thanks the vet who has done the AI..I think they think it was the immaculate conception That was a big litter for AI ? It depends on how many straws are used & making sure the bitch is at her optimum time. Congratulations by the way ;D

Oh my goodness, that is some list of titles!!! Thanks so much for posting it. Has been a busy day, Halley is such a natural mother she is making it easy on me, allowing me to help rotate feedings, keeping them spotlessly clean and warm, and of course eating and drinking everything I put in front of her!!!!!! I make special egg nogs for my girls which they have at whelping and for a few days till they are drinking on their own again. Yes the Vet was so helpful, not only for the actual procedure but helped coordinate the bloods tests. He is on holiday right now but wiull be glad to hear about the size of the litter. He uses the Camelots method (pellets instead of straws) and Halley was surgically implanted. My last AI experience wasnt bad either, 7 years ago, using straws and got 7 pups which was great then too. A different Vet then and surgically again. Thanks fore the congrats everyone, have taken a pic but need to process it and then upload but Im too tired.....hahahaha Need sleeeeeeep The human baby was a client of mine, Im a Midwife!!!!!!!!!!!!
