Just looked at a show schedule (from the kennel club in Croatia) and at least 2 CACIB shows I looked at offer the Baby Class. I was just wondering what it depends on - here, I've never seen a Baby Class at our large shows (some have said there can be, at speciality shows).
What does it depend on, does the club/country decide on offering a Baby Class?

Yay!! I just found out that in Latvia and Estonia there is NO Baby Class at National and International shows, but in Latvia there may be at specialty shows, depending on the breed club.
In Lithuania, there is Baby Class at National Shows.
The info is unofficial, so anyone going would need to confirm it with the organisers beforehand.

In Australia we have Baby Pupy, which is 3-6 months. The only shows that dont, ar some of the big Royal Shows, like Sydney and Melbourne. For Sydney you have to qualify with at least 3 first prizes in the year. After the age of three years, only Champions can go. I think the minimum age is around a year, or just a little less. Only Basenji's in the youngest class don't have to qualify, as they are born at the wrong time of year, and have probably not had enough time in the ring. Three month old Wei babies in the ring are just TOO cute, all feet and ears. I would be a TERRIBLE judge, I can't resist babies! Wendy

They only come into season once a year, and the pups are all born at about the same time. They are too young to have gotten their 3 firsts for sure, so they let them in. Can you imagine every bitch in the breed coming into season AT ONCE?? We had almost that, with 5 girls of 2 different breeds coming in one after the other. Poor Phantom, he worried about all of them. Even the Min Pins!! LOL! Wendy

In Israel we have 2 puppies classes
3-6 m. that is only in National shows,
6-9 m. in CACIB show and the Best Puppy go to the compatition in the main ring. It is depend on the national kennel club and not the FCI regolations as far as i know.
