Penny Lane frequently takes our clothes or shoes in the rare event we leave her home. Even if only one member of the household leaves. She doesn't hurt the things just lays on them.
We have recently moved. I was enjoying our new soaker bathtub after unpacking and rearranging stuff. I specifically put my slippers near the tub for when I got out. I never saw her come in and out. Nevertheless when I got out only one slipper. I hollered to my husband about the other one. He said come see. There was Penny Lane in my recliner next to my husband in his and Billy Ray in his. My slipper was under her chin and she was fast asleep. ;D

Ah, bless!!!! My Daan does exactly the same btw. When I leave alone in my house, she takes one of my shoes and she just lays on it. So sweet!!!

HI PEGGY!!! VERY nice to see you and Penny Lane on here. To those who don't know about Penny Lane, Peggy has a wonderful website with her background story: www.lighthouseparents.com/ServiceDog.html and here: www.parentingyourcomplexchild.com/ServiceDog.html Take a little time to read about her organization, I think it is a very ambitious and worthwhile effort, and one part is to promote the wider use of service dogs, something I think is a great idea!
