Oh my god, oh my god!!!!!!! Who are this people who enjoy to torture like this? I forced myself to look till the end, although I was shaking all the time, my stomach was hurting me, my heart was hurting me ...I wanted to beat this people!!!!! Is somebodey doing anything against this cruelty of enjoying to torture this inocent animals? ? I would love to do the same to that man who did this. Just the same thing what he did to the animal. This would be only fair punishment for that man!!! I feel now very angry and sad that people can be so rude, the most terrible animals god ever created on the planet are some humans!!! Sorry for this outbrake, but that's reaction on the film I forced myself to watch to the end to try to understand why. But there is nothing to understand this is just awful, brutal and terrible

I tried to force myself to watch it through - but I could not. Some people are just not worth to be called humans - they are sadistic cretins and should not have the right to breathe the same air as us. I can only curse those low-life's .... may they live in interesting times.

Well...my dogs and I are very fond of meat...
So am I, and I feed my dogs raw ... but there is no excuse on earth for skinning animals alive. Those people have twisted sadistic minds, and in my view it is not even a question of different cultures or a different upbringing. You find sadists in all walks of life and in all cultures. People like that make me physically sick and although I like to think of myself as fairly mild mannered, and it is not easy to get me into a rage - watching such butchering just about does it.

Yeah, I can barely watch it. I think some people really don't realize the horrid happenings until they actually view something like this. I didn't until I viewed this. I hate to see it and hate to see them get away with it, but I do feel like a bit of a hypocrite since I'm not at the other polar end, you know. My weims sport leather collars and we all eat meat, etc.

I don't think you or I or anybody eating meat and/or using leather has to feel like a hypocrite. We live and we die - and so do animals... and there is no way around it for any of us. It is Natures way for some animals to hunt and kill and eat other animals ... and we humans have adapted it for our needs since the stone ages. The point that we all object to is the unnecessary cruelty and the waste of those animals life's for .... what ?? the beauty of their furs I don't even know why they slaughter those animals in this inhumane fashion, but I have no doubt it is for monetary gains. It is totally beyond my understanding why some people find it necessary to resort to sadism and I cannot find excuses nor forgiveness for such acts. Christina

This video has been around for at least two years that I know of. You will notice that the site solicits donations for PETA(People for Ethical Treatment of Animals). Despite what their name claims, there is NOTHING ethical about PETA or their aims. While this video purports to depict PETA's efforts to stop such activity--you will notice that there is nothing of a legally useful nature---and while there is plenty of graphic violence and gore depicted close up--there is a glaring absence of any type of identifying information. No statement as to the location or time of the filming, no identifying features of the participants--in fact the camera seems to be purposely turned away from catching features of any of the participants. The impression a reasonable person would have in looking at this website is that donations to PETA would be used to combat such practices. The video would appear to have been made in China. PETA has no activities in China---it would appear that they are using the video as an emotional manipulation to raise funds. The last PETA activity that I became aware of was the arrest of two PETA emplyees. They were arrested when they were observed throwing trash bags into a private commercial trash dumpster on private property. They were observed by security guards for the business that owned the dumpster. The security guards called the police who investigated and arrested the PETA employees for animal cruelty. The investigation showed that the trash bags contained the bodies of over 40 dogs. The PETA employees had collected them from local animal shelters after signing papers in which PETA promised to find homes for them. They subsequently killed them and were disposing of the bodies. This was appearantly done to "establish" a reputation as a legitimate rescue operation, and possibly to cover spending funds on other things that could be charged off as "rescue expenses".
One of the avowed aims of PETA is the abolishment of private pet ownership. Something I think no one on this board would agree with either.

From things I've heard over the years, PETA does go over the top, but I had never heard that they were for the abolishment of private pet ownership. What's up with that? Anywhere that I can read more about it, as I am very ignorant when it comes to PETA.

well I've watched it in the end and the one on cats and dogs used for fur in china which is equally disgusting but sadly some countries do not have the same ethical views on animals, even in europe we struggle in some places.
I have made an ethical choice for myself one that I am happy with which does involve the killing of some animals for food and as pest control as part of my current course as a gamekeeper. I do not eat by choice meat that is brought in the shops and neither will I eat it in restaurants instead I choose to either shoot my own (pheasant, duck, deer etc) or to buy it from sources where I know what their lives have been like (for an example chickens I breed and goat and rabbit I buy in from members of my college who breed them). I know that everything that I eat has had a good life and has been humanely killed and slaughtered, nothing is wasted which is something I find horrific in the commercialised meat trade and I put back more than I take out, for an example at the moment I am breeding quail for release on our local shoot and for a local nature reserve where they will be allowed to breed undisturbed.
I think that I would be a hypocrite to criticise this type of filming if I then went on to buy and eat animal products that were from unknown sources.
