Does anyone have, or know of, a little of Weim pups available now or in the coming months - in either Holland, UK, or Norway? I am interested in an undocked tail but will of course consider all options.
Thanks!! JennieMarie

Hi Jennie!!!!!! Glad you made it to this board. I think Marjolein meant they don't have any DOCKED (cut) tails anymore in Holland. Which is indeed what you need. Jennie, please feel free to also look into our Litter Announcements section and feel free to contact the breeders for more info. I will also ask the ones that have not posted here but I know they will be having litters. Did I get it right on the other board that you are not looking for a hunting companion specifically, but would like just a good companion? I am sure we can find you a good puppy. Just tell us what you want. If you don't plan on showing your Weim, would you consider a pup from Weim Rescue? Also, please do find out more about Weims if you are not personally familiar with them, so that you know what you are getting and there are no nasty surprises. Please feel free to start a topic right here on the board!! Again, welcome, it is nice to have you join us.

Thank you so much for your help!!!
Best case scenario, I'd love to find a pup to take home in the next couple of weeks in either Southern Norway (not likely) or Holland (better poss. here).
I think I'd prefer English bloodline origins (for the soft angles) or if not, I just like a soft friendly face (I've had a lifetime of Setters).
I am indeed only looking for a companion, and I would consider a rescue pup - but I am quite conscious of health, (bone/blood, etc)and as this is my first Weim, I like the security/reassurance a breeder lends to the picture (during the life of the dog).
SO happy to have your help.. jm

You won't find the "old" breeders on any list. They have don't advertise cause they have a waitinglist.

A good place to look is to go to shows, and trials. Talk to the owners of dogs that you see that you like. You can get contact information in catalouges, and don't be shy about talking to people you meet---you'll meet lots of nice people.
You'll find that the most experienced breeders(LOL, sounds better than old breeders) prefer people to get their puppies who are interested in doing something with their dogs. Breeding for quality is hard, and they want to see the hard work they've put in appreciated. Even if you don't hunt or show yourself, you might find a friend who would like to hunt with your dog for instance. Maybe someone who likes to hunt but cann't keep a dog would jump at the chance to hunt with yours, and your dog will love the chance to work too.

Hi Migle, You won't find any litters in Lithuania or Latvia now, there was hope to get first weimaraner litter in Latvia, pity but all failed. Maybe You can find some litters in Poland, as country is big, there are many kennels, You may find there what You're looking for. As Wetdog suggested, You can start Your search from shows.

And I'm with the same inquiry about a puppy... I was asked to put this post here. And I'm here like "a translator" ;D . One russian family (husband Alexei + wife + little child) is looking for a pup (male) of SH Weimaraner. They live outside of Moscow near a big park. Alexei's wife has a lot of free time to pay attention to a future dog. They had a poodle before and so they have some experience in having of dogs. They are not going on for hunting but they are very active people. I showed them some types in the breed ahd they like american lines indeed. They looked at some poland kennels (ImperiumStar and FalaLovea) but sorry there are not anything suitable for them....because there no litters near time... I understand that they should have entered for waiting list before but maybe somebody could suggest a weim-pup near time. But they would not like to get adult dog, only a pup of 2-4 months old. Thanks in good time. Greeting Nana Andreeva
