Hi, my name is Jennifer and I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and are looking for a long haired pup. We are having a hard time finding one. If anyone can give us some information on where to find one we would appreciate it. We would also like some information on shipping a puppy. (how safe, cost, and advisability) Thanks! We have found the perfect puppy! Thank you so much for your help! We have had him for two weeks and loving everyday. We still enjoy reading information on your site. Thanks again for all your help!

Hi Jenny, and welcome to Euro Weims! Please tell us a little more about your needs - are you looking for a pet, or a dog to hunt with? Since you can't show LH's in Canada, I'm assuming those two are the most likely reasons to get a LH? Several people on this board breed Longhairs, and I'm sure there are options, and a possibility to get a puppy from as far as Australia ;D or as "close" as the UK. I hope the folks will check in and leave a message for you soon.

We may have found a long haired pup. Now we have to figure out how to fly him home. The price we got was $1000.00 Canadian for air fair from Sweden to Nova Sotia. Little to rich for our pocket book. Does anyone have any ideas or know of different airline that fly out of Sweden to Canada? We would really appreciate any information.

Jenny, there is a breeder who has both coats in Canada. There are a few, including a German import. I have some pics saved of them, too. If you email me privately, I will send him your address. wendls13@yahoo.com.au If I had one, I send it to you, just to have one in Nova Scotia - my great, great grandfather was born in Halifax. Wendy
