Hi, I lost my beautiful weimaraner bitch only 8 weeks ago after 15 fantastic years. Having thought I couldn't go through that agony again I have decided the house is too empty without her. I would really like to get a long haired weimaraner in 2008 but cannot find any breeders in the uk - can anyone recommend a long haired breeder based in UK to me? Thanks, Katy.

Hi Katy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. They leave a massive grey hole don't they. Welcome to the forum albeit under such sad circumstances. May your girl fly high with the angels.
I can put you in touch with somebody who is planning a litter in the spring. I will pm you my number.

Thank you for that - I will give you a call - a spring litter would be perfect!

I can recommend a very good breeder of long hairs in the UK. Not sure if I can post names on here, but if you send me a personal email I will give you her name and telephone number. From what I have seen her dogs are very nice. I do not know if she has any litters this year. Rachel

you'll also find breeders on champ dogs and via the clubs if you contact them for a breeder list.

I know that this might not be your cup of tea but one of the rescues has a longhaired male looking for a home... he is older but might be worth looking at???

Tasha, maybe you could have a pic posted of him? (I'd take my Boris no matter what his age!) I remember wanting Mar's Billy so badly;) Rescues are really wonderful dogs and usually very easy to fit into a person's home and routine- much less work than house training a puppy (which only requires running inside and out many times thru the day and night;)

sorry i don't have a picture of him his details are on another forum and rescue aren't keen about posting photos which is fair enough. just thought I'd mention him as you rarely see a longhair in rescue so most people opt to buy a puppy instead.
