Yes, as a matter of fact I do. The book is currently being digitalised, and as soon as the European information has been sent, printing will commence. It is estimate that the final print will be available early September. There will be a limited print run of around 2000 copies. Its doubtful there will ever be a third reprint! Its estimated that the cost per book is likely to be £86 per copy, with a shipping charge of £3.95 per copy. There are approximately 200 additional pages, compared to the original version. Ginny has agreed to PERSONALLY endorse every copy that's pre-ordered, greeting, message of the buyers choice, so not only will each buyer have their very own Weim Bible....it'll be personalised too! All UK/European sales from handled by www.pet-express.co.ukAll of the above information is speculative, and should be treated as such.

Has anyone in Europe managed to get a copy of the second edition yet?
Does anyone have an email address for the publishers, Jackie Isabell or Ginny Alexander so I can order direct?
Many thanks

Thanks for the weblink.
I have the first book and realise the contact details must be the same, I guess I was just looking for the convenience of ordering online.
I think I recall a fax number from one of the WCA magazines so will fax an enquiry.
Cheers

Neither Ginny nor Jackie do email. I would call Ginny if you want info. There are still things being compiled for the book, this I know for sure.. I don't think it's going to be out until at least the spring altho they are taking pre-orders now. The only instructions I have is to mail a check. The weimaraners.com site is for the most part defunct. No new information there. Again, the best way to get the latest information is to call Ginny.

OK, I just talked to Ginny. She said late February. Still working on some of the chapters and such. She may be coming out to Calif for a breeding we tried last year, to try again.... Will have more time to pick her brain then.
But send a check to the address on that link, that goes to her personally and you will get a signed copy. After Feb the orders go to the publishers and you will not get a signed copy.

Cool, thanks Anne.
If you do manage to see Ginny before February, can you ask her about the $12.00 shipping fee, in that, is that for overseas or just for the States? I know it's a big old book and must be heavy.
I can post a cheque no problem but I want to include the right amount.
I can always call in the New Year if you don't manage to speak to her.
Thanks

Hi all WCGB Rescue Rehoming & Welfare have had a copy of this new Weimaraner Ways donated for our raffle being held this year to raise funds for rescue. So for £1 you may win a copy Tickets available from early Feb Lynn PS: Also donated is a copy of "The complete Weimaraner" by William Denlinger. I understand that this is a first copy and will be auctioned on E Bay, all proceeds to weimaraner rescue.

I think the raffle tickets are very cheap. I don't think anyone would turn their nose up at £2.00 a ticket, or would they?

Hi Daniella, I have had 20,000 tickets printed so at £1 each if we can sell them all we will riase £20,000 for rescue. I have the tickets now and all WCGB members will be getting 2 books in with the next newsletter, but if any non club members would like to buy some please do let me know and I will post to you. Thanks Lynn

Lynn, if you'll send me your address and phone number I'll send you a check. If you can take a credit card it might be easier, I think it would pay out in Pounds and you wouldn't have to exchange. WHOA---I just thought of something----I had a whole pocketful of change from my visit to Irena, I'll have to dig it back out and see what there is. I think that you and your group are doing a very good thing for the individual dogs and the breed. I applaud your efforts, on behalf of all of us who are interested in and love the breed. I hope that you meet and far exceed your goal. I invite all the other board members to join in supporting Lynn and rescue efforts everywhere. I think anytime we help a Weimaraner anywhere, we help Weimaraners everywhere. Best Wishes From Heartland Weimaraner Rescue www.heartlandweimrescue.org/

It's expected to come out around December. Ginny had some sample pages out at Nationals in June. A couple of my friends were writing chapters and I know it was hard to stop when dogs kept accomplishing things -- not really a bad problem to have! :-)
