Our dogs not beautifull??

We sended in some pics for the photocontest of the Swedisch "WeimaranerNytt" the clubmagazine of the Swedisch Weimaranerclub.
Yesterday the magazine was sended by post and finally I could see the winner of the contest..
I sended in a few pics of our dogs. Where under:

And some more pics, most workingpics because the Weimaraner is a workingdog.

But I think the photographer who judged the dogs didn't like our dogs... We didn't had the 1st price but we got an honor price, 2 pics where also placed because they liked it.

I must say that the picture who won never would be a pic that we had chosed for the winning 1... It was a portet pic of a Weimaraner looking over the water.
So no wonder none of our pics won....

LOL!!! No wonder, maybe they prefer Weimaraners that only do that and don't ACTUALLY splash into the water like crazy to retrieve whatever fell into it! LOL (just kidding here, I know there are some FINE working Weims in Sweden)

Seriously though, the pictures you take are AWESOME. I would be hard pressed to choose only 12 to make a calendar. So what, they didn't "win" this time, but they are still really amazing pictures.

Maybe you should have sent in a pair of glasses with the pictures---it looks to me like the judges need glasses. ;D

Well Sylvia I like picture no 2 best because of the dappled light, but both are beautiful. I also think the one with just the tail is funny -
