Hi everybody,
I am here as a new member but I was a guest since a few years. Irena received some papers for his pedigreedata.
I love this race since number years. My first dog , Morgane, was borned in 1977. In this time, only a few dogs were living in Belgium.
Vulcain is my 5th Weimie and my wish is that he still lives for many years. My other Weimies , except Morgane, borned in my house. Grisby (1982) died at 17 years, his son Ketch (1986) four months after his mother at 13 years 1/2. Kalimity (his sister), alias Punky, died in 2001 at 15 years old.
I don't speak english very well but I try.
Have a goog night.

Welcome to the board Vanda! It is a pleasure to have join us. WOW--your Weims all seem to live to a VERY ripe old age, I'm sure you can tell us a lot about how to take care of Weims, it seems obvious to me that you are very good at it. I hope you come back often and share some of your knowledge with us.

Yes wetdog, I'll do my best to tell how keep weimies at the top.
But, principally, I think that like in the song "all they need is love"...and attention.
I noted too that food is important. I give since two years to Vulcain house's food (pasta or rice or porridge, vegetables and meat ). I seen the difference. He looks younger.
I hope also that he 'll stay in good health because he is soon 11 years in two months.
