Hi all, I am working now on the longlivity in the pedigree database ( www.weimaranerpedigrees.com ). I heard that some do like to see the longlivity of Weims. We made some field for the date of death, cause of death and the age they dog reached. With the age they reached you can find it back in the Advanced info. To see in 1 view which ages Weimaraners reach. So now I hope that you all are willing to help with giving the info of dates and/or ages and causes of death. Then the database can be helpful in that too! You can email me with dates!

Hi All, To give a little update.
So far I got dates of death out of old clubmagazines and from some people who gave me dates. But we have only just over 400 Dates of death, and that on close to 125.000 Weims is that not many. I hope you all will help to get a good picture of the Longevity of the Weimaraner. So far the list is: 57x -11 - 12 Year 53x -12 - 13 Year 37x -14 - 15 Year 33x -13 - 14 Year 32x -10 - 11 Year 32x -9 - 10 Year 25x -7 - 8 Year 23x -8 - 9 Year 18x -6 - 7 Year 17x -5 - 6 Year 16x -15 - 16 Year 15x -1 - 2 Year 14x -3 - 4 Year 11x -4 - 5 Year 10x -0 - 1 Year 9 x -16 - 17 Year 7 x -2 - 3 Year 1 x -17 - 18 Year This gives an average age from 11 to 13 years old. Of course are in these dates as well dogs died of accidents by cars or poisoning.
