A friend of mine who shows her Weimaraner in the UK her dog has just damaged its tooth and a week later it fell out. It is right at the front, do you know if it is okay to still show a dog with a missing tooth ?

You have to ask a letter about it from the vet. and give this to the ringmaster before you go into the ring. Than it is no problem, because the tooth were in before the accident. Hope you have succes with your weim.

in the UK you also have to let the KC know about the damage and the fact that its missing.

in the UK you also have to let the KC know about the damage and the fact that its missing. If it has just fallen out I don't think you do need to contact the KC it is only if the tooth has been removed by a vet that you need permission as you then have a vet certificate. I know of a few dogs which are sh ch who have a front tooth missing and some with cc's & they don't have vet certificates

I guess if a vet removes a tooth you would then ask for a certificate for permission to show.
