Went to see a great movie yesterday. Called 'Bombon' and I think any dog lover would enjoy it. www.phase9.tv/moviereviews/elperro.shtmlIt is a very poignant movie and has the most amazing landscape shots. It is set in Patagonia, which I know is in Sth America, just not sure were! It is in Spanish with subtitles in English. Beautiful story about a man and his magnificent Dogo Argentino. Lois

Thanks Lois! That sounds like a very good movie, I'm going to look for it--I'm wondering if I may have to wait for it to come out on DVD--although it is common here to get Spanish language movies in "The Argentine" the Latin section of Kansas City--Spanish is the predominant language there. I did find some pictures of Patagonia--looks like someplace I'd enjoy going to someday. www.adventurephotographs.com/patagonia/index.asp (there are more albums in the names on the blue/green cross bar)

I finally saw this film today and would highly recommend it to anyone.
It's not only beautiful visually but it's also very touching, funny and has a great soundtrack.
The lead character, is a good natured chap, down on his luck who falls into the world of dog showing.
Anyone who shows can appreciate the 'dog' scenes, it's so close to home, you'll laugh out loud.
