Here we have the girls Tahr and Weka, imported Von Wasserschloss bred pups aged 18 months hunting Sambar Deer in Australia, no tails and loving it , much to the disgust of the local vets , they live in www.safaritours.bigpondhosting.com Happy is a Wei that can hunt.

Hi Marjolein long time no talk, yes time flies, as I said when I got them, I believe the purchase by phone was a 50/50 deal, some breeders still take advantage of you being in another country, Tahr on the left was as descibed and now weighs 35kilo she scents from the ground and will make an excelent tracker, the other bitch Weka, was much lighter and is still 8 kilo lighter, but weka is an ultra keen fast hunter and uses the wind for scenting, she has allready guided clients with 100% success. They are hard to train when together and still work better on a rope, but they point Deer and Kangaroos and they are keen. How is life with your Wei, and by the way there is another photo of Tahr wth a chital and myself in dorits article, January Picture Contest: "lap dog weim, if you know any good single Wei loving females that wont be scared by the picture send them over I need a new one for gutting the deer lol.

they are looking fabulous! 18 months really has gone by very quickly nice to hear they are enjoying their jobs Can't believe how different they look.
