I am not sure if this is the right place for this but there is a program in the UK that is featuring game this season. If you are interested in the types of shooting available here these programs offer a good insight into the process. These programs are based on hunting for the pot but are for the general public not purely for hunters so the programs show a balanced view from both the anti and the pro shooting communities. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gn2hg - Red Grouse www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gn264 - Rabbit www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gn0pj - Duck www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gmxq9 - Deer HPRs and other breeds of gundogs and their roles are not predominantly featured although the Grouse episode does show the jobs of springers and labs. The blooding featured does not happen on all shoots although this is a process I have been through for deer, birds and fox. These programs are only available for a very short period of time on the BBC website I hope they will be informative.

your welcome they don't show the normal shoots for pheasant which is a pity but I can understand why as these play more into the hands of the anti brigade but the general idea is there along with the preparation process of dispatching, gutting, skinning/plucking etc
