Hunting in NZ?

Hi there, I hope this is the right section if no, please move. I've heard that there're proper hunting tests for gundogs over in NZ, is that right?

I'd like to do more hunting with Quentin. I'm just a beginner and so is he and we're doing it all on our own as hunting is nearly impossible here in QLD. I'm getting a Weimaraner from Germany in a few years time - an adult trained bitch, so I want Quentin to be able to keep up with her.

Are there workshops or anything like that we could go to? I don't think Quen needs to go into quarantine when he comes from NZ, so that would be avery usefull holiday!
Any suggestions? Thanks!

she may be able to help, I purchased two pups from her and had them flown over to Australia, unfortunately she sent over one with a hernia, but she is a trals judge so she should know what you want, cheers john
