I just made Nachos. Riga was almost beside herself in anticipation---if you ever saw a dog that looked like it would explode from having to wait another second, that was Riga. She tries to sit and look patient, but that lasts about 5 seconds before she has to do the little happy feet circles. Riga LOVES Nachos, HOT Nachos, gotta have that Jallepeno bite to them!!! She loves them SO much, even turning on the shop-vac cann't get her to leave. I got to wondering---Riga likes just about any kind of thing she gets for a treat---but there is nothing else that gets quite the reaction that Nachos get----are there other dogs out there that have favorites that they get totally crazy for, or is Riga the only one in the world?

LOL....can't say I have tried nachos but my girl has never turned her nose up at anything we have given her. I guess her ultimate would have to be turkey, and I would say the same for every Weim we have owned. Tis the season, so she will be getting turkey for Christmas day too

I use Ro-Tel brand diced tomato and green chiles---and this time I had noticed that they have something new. It is still diced tomato and chiles, but they have a new flavor that has lime juice and cilantro added, so I tried it. IT IS GREAT!!! It's called Ro-Tel Mexican Festival and it is in a blue can. I've always used more than the original recipe calls for, three cans per two pounds of Velvetta---but you have to drain the liquid from the cans or it will be too runny. I also add some real cheese to the mix, either cheddar or colby to give it a firmer texture and more cheese flavor.

I'd rather eat them myself, but my dogs love them too... So do the cats btw, especially one of them. Stupid animal, LOL!!!

Not so stupid if you ask me--they all know what is good. I love nachos too--maybe not QUITE as much as Riga does, LOL.

They just know instinctively what they are allowed and what they are not. If we had curry she would not bother us at all. Eating yoghurts, apples, humous etc there was a constant waterfall of anticipation. Oh happy days.

Turkey - I've just had to dump about 20kg of turkey wings as it went through my guys WAY too quick (if you get my drift :-( ) I had a Min Pin who would have walked over broken glass for twisties. Lara waits for the yohurt container My old corgi Kim used to dribble waiting for apple cores, Lara just takes apples. Zed simply wants what Mummy has. Cause she's not a dog, either! Wendy
