Hello Nadja,
congrats, you have all reasons to be proud of your babies!
In Finland they are still sitting deep in the snow, I guess, all game still frozen, LOL.

Hi Kobie, i gladly explain ......
This goes vor VJP and HZP. Points go from 0 - 11 h. O = failed 1 -2 = inadequate 3 - 5= suffiecent 6 - 8= good 9 - 11= very good 11 h = excellent 11 h can only be given when the dog at least twice has shown excellent work on the hare track, pointing, or for the HZP water work. The judge must apply to give a 11 h. It is rarely given, and only to a truly outstanding work. Here in Germany we have numbers for school grades 1 being the best and 6 being the worst. If a dog has for example 10 points in a subject this means a straight 1. 11 points meaning a 1+ . Which already shows you that 10´s and 11´s are already marvelous grades. For example a dog that has all 10´s in his VJP has 70 points.
Greetings Nadja

Big congrats!!! And I also have a question... The disciplines tested on the VJP are searching, pointing, nose, obedience and hare track...is this correct? How is it with the hare track - is it obligatory for weims? Here in Slovenia there is a big chance there are no hares found on the VJP...so points for the hare track are "plus points"... Is it the same in Germany? Eva

Points on the hare track are no bonus points. They just keep searching untill they find a hare, which is usually not too difficult in the fields provided.
