Weim to travel Europe - Help needed

Hi people out there.

First of all:
I do not know whether I chose the right category and therefore do by no means object to this thread being transferred to another place by the admins.

Coming to the point now:
I will be traveling Europe (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia, Turkey) with my Weim within the next months (approx. Oct. - Apr.).

My first concern is of course about formalities while crossing borders, as well as attitudes towards dogs especially in Eastern Europe (no offence!!!). I have already read a lot and gathered a bunch of information, but I am interested in more nevertheless!

Furthermore I have the following "request":
As we are hunters and the little one is still amidst his education, I (naturally) would like and intend to keep going during the trip.

Therefore I would like to ask, whether any of (especially, but of course not exclusively ) you hunters out there in those countries might be able and willing to help me on the occasion.

The help I do need obviously concentrates on game/blood for training the little one. (I will neither bring weapons nor any hunting licenses apart from a copy of my german license! So this is not about hunting and/or living game.)
Even an adress where I could get some training-game would be highly helpful and appreciated.

I hope my intentions came clear and that some of you might be willing to help.

P.S.: I am also interested in coffee-meetings as a matter of facts if anybody cares. But I have to admit that my time might be a little limited. So all comes around to spontaneity.

Coffee is always ready here and so are fabulous woods for bloodtracking training. But I'm not sure if you're visiting Holland as well.

Thanks a lot! I do not know yet how everything will work out in the end. So I cannot tell whether I will be able to come to Holland to (though I definitely would like to).
As that will only be possible on the return trip, I will have to wait and see (time, money etc.).

But thanks anyway, I will for sure come back to that offer one day.

We finally get a litter btw after a lot of hassle. Daan has been spayed due to an abortion followed by a pyo. Now her daughter has to do the job and the pups are expected in a weeks time.
Where did you get your new addition from?

poor Daan, I am very sorry for that and for you! She is a great bitch.

But superb that you are expecting another litter.

The "addition" is one of Tanjas last litter, and he is very promising indeed, though some character.

Hey and welcome!

I come from Slovenia We're in the EU so there are no special formalities regarding entering the country. We have a law that on public places dogs have to be on leash, but many of the owners don't do that... I keep my dog on the leash in the city and of course I let her of the leash in the nature
Generally I think dogs are well excepted here - but of course there are allways some people that just don't like dogs.

I'm not a hunter but I think I can help you with your trainings - can take you to fields where you can train and get some game for training... In which month you'll come to Slovenia?

in case you mean Maisey, they are from the same litter. Ulysses is her BROTHER.

No, he was only 5 months when the VJPs were held. But I am thinking about the HZP this year. If it keeps going like it does at the moment, I think I will try it.
