Merry Christmas to you too ! Guess you must be snowed over by now. We in the South of the UK won't see a flake, I fear ... Oh, the delights of global warming.... Christina

We have lots of snow and tomorrow we are planning to go "snorekjoring" (that's when the dog pulls you on skis).

Hi everyone, Merry Christmas from Down Under! It is Christmas morning here, bright blue sky, no real breeze, ducks landing on the dam that is just out of my window. There are bushfires in other places in the state. We don't really have a Christmas, with a boarding kennel and 90 or so dogs, I am too tired! But looking at that pic, I know what time of year I am coming over to see you guys! But I will have to save my pennies, as you can't buy clothes warm enough for that sort of stuff here! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, and may all your dreams and plans come true in 2006. And here's thinking of all those who can't be with us at this time. Love and hugs, Wendy and all the grey babies. (Well, they all think they are babies, anyway!)

Ninety dogs? Boy, you must be rushed off your feet!
As much as I love dogs, I think that number would send me over the edge! LOL

It was snowing here today. Two days late but we are forecast more! I am hoping it will settle enough to have some fun. Eden has not seen much, perhaps the odd melting patch, so I will be watching out the window tonight. Fingers crossed.

The easiest would have to be Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, no doubt. The worst would be a crossbreed. Usually Kelpie x Border Collies. Escape artists, often very noisy, can be agressive towards their neighbours. Dogs that need a job, and people put them in back yards. Always ends in tears. We have just had one of these - considered a Kelpie, or a working border collie, depending on who you talk to - that had to spend 4 days in our avairy as it was the only think that held it. It went over the top of a 6 foot door from a sitting start right in front of us! Wendy

Dixie (my older German Shepherd) is DETERMINED to get herself a bird sandwich!!! We have a lot of wild turkey here--and everytime we go for a run, that is the first thing she heads off into the brush to look for---and she knows ALL of their favorite hiding places. So far, she hasn't come back with a bird sandwich, but she has come back with a mouthfull of feathers a couple of times. I call her my German Shepbird dog. Most people that hunt them think turkeys are about the hardest thing to hunt there is. People who think turkeys are dumb have never tried to hunt wild turkey. www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov/id/framlst/i3100id.html
