I noticed that this forum is almost death
I remember the time that people posted lots of new topics, questions, idea's, etc...

Anyone a suggestion to make this forum more alive again ?
We need some more PR ;D

Yes, probably everyone noticed that. I also remember the time when I came here to read what all of you were writing (I only dreamt about a Weim then). There was always something new and interesting here... Then I purchased a Weim, registered and... everything finished.
I hoped that wasn't my fault ;D

But seriously, I think we need new pople, someone who would like to ask questions and discuss the answers.

Hi, how about a thread about 'Your Weis favourite beach/lake'? The Deerhound forum has this thread and it is lovely to see dogs enjoying the water in beautiful locations around the world. Another thread could be 'favourite hiking pics' we took the Weis for five hikes this xmas, this breed is truly magical in the forest.

Hello again, yip I would start this thread as soon as I transfer some photos over to tinypics! Also a good thread is 'Putting face to name' with a pic of members with there dogs and a wee bit about themselves. Better get to work!

Yes, it's true, kids& CO makes us busy much more then our weims....who would think about it before ;D...we also hope we can run on the forum again, was really cool some time before..and we bet it will be again, why NOT, it's all up to us

You put into words exactly what I have been thinking for awhile. I have been trying to come up with a few ideas, and I sure could use some help and suggestions.

One thing, is, hey, I've been around many of the people here socially as well as on the board. We did not talk ONLY about shows and results----we talked about a little bit of everything. SURE, show people talk about shows, hunting people talk about hunting, and breeders talk about.................well, you know what I mean....................

We need some new members coming in with fresh viewpoints. You can all help with that by inviting new persons to join the board. If you have friends who are not members, but you think would enjoy the board---invite them to join.

And no one needs to necessarily limit themselves on what they talk about----of coarse we all like to talk about Wemaraners; but we do talk about other things from time to time also.

For now, I'd just ask----if you are going to make a long post that is not Weim related----just say so in the title, so that people who do not want to read non-Weim items or don't have much time etc. can know to skip it if they want to.

I hope you all continue to enjoy the board and come visit often. I think the exchange of information and friendships this board makes possible is very important the breed---and I think we should have people who just enjoy their Weims as pets. After all, isn't that the whole point of our having dogs? Everyone should enjoy their dogs as their best friends, that seems the whole reason for it all.

I agree this board could be more active. I always think problems should not be the only reason we chat about our dogs. Think of the nice things about them too and talk about them.
