The Bateson report might not be of interest to those outside the UK but it will impact those who breed here. However some elements might be worth a read if you have an interest in dog breeding in general and history. breedinginquiry.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/final-dog-inquiry-120110.pdfChapter 3 is titled 'Genetics & Inbreeding' Some changes have already been made to UK breeding practices for an example the UK KC in 2009 made an amendment to their rules with regard to the offspring that are a result of any mating between father and daughter, mother and son or brother and sister, save in exceptional circumstances or for scientifically proven welfare reasons.
