Crazy game!

Have to share this with you guys. In the spring, our capercaillies wake up and they start mating. They can be so lovesick that they choose very strange partners.
Here is some pics from a Finnish newspaper of a capercaillie that has fell in love with a cat and a beagle
Too bad he didn't come to our yard
And yes, we hunt them in the autumn.

WOW!!!! VERY FUNNY!!! I can't read the stories, but the pictures say it all.

LOL, the cats look like they are ready to head for the hills.

From the look of the picture, if the beagle got his way, somebody would end up with a big bird living with them. He looks to me like he's ready to be best friends.

Thanks for the pictures, they are GREAT~I'd never seen or heard of these birds before.
