Hi from Moscow. We are new to this forum. My name is Slava and my wife is Olga. Our lovely pet is weimgirl Gera (Gerardini Del Jocondo). Rather complicated name I assume (not my fault). Therefore we call her Gera. She's 2 years and 3 months and she is Best Junior Eurasia Dog Show 2009, BIG-3 "Russia- 2009", National Breed Club Champion, Wolrd Dog Show 2009 - "excellent" mark, BIG-3 "Eurasia-2010. She is also a promising hunter (3 qualifications of 3-rd degree in field trial - great snipes). We enjoy hunting with our dog as she gives us pleasure and a chance to learn from her. You can find some pictures below taken by our friend and outstanding photographer Inga.

Hello Slava, Olga and Gera.
Gera is a beautiful lady, and she photographs very well. The photos are great!
That is an unusual marking on the top of her muzzle(I'm not being critical here---I just mean it is distinctive, not bad) I've never seen anything quite like that. I have seen a similar looking mark on the back between the shoulder blades. It was the hair laying in opposing directions on either side. I'm guessing this is similar.
I think it adds character and depth to her face----it sort of visually draws your attention right into her eyes.
Is Inga the breeder? Good job. She looks like quite the huntress from the pictures.

Inga is not our breeder, but she is the owner of a very nice weim lady Rida and an experienced photographer (unfortunatelly for me she's not a huntress at all, but who knows, maybe in future...). She has a personal site that is worth to have a look. www.photo-inga.com

That is an unusual marking on the top of her muzzle This is what they call a "cow lick" and is seen every now and then in Weimaraners.

Slava----(laughing)---I didn't write that very well---I meant that Gera appears to be quite the huntress.
Inga---you take wonderful photos. It looks like you really have your hands full when Jackie and Rida get going! LOL. Welcome to you also, I hope you like it here. I know we'll all enjoy seeing your work.
Marjolein----COWLICK!!! I KNEW there was a name for it, but I couldn't remember for the life of me. Yup, I've seen them before, usually on the shoulder area or the top of the head.
