Boris, Misty, Slade, Bully & I are doing well, considering I just lost my youngest child on Halloween or November 1st, 2010, at only 21 years old. She accompanied me to The Netherlands to pick up Boris during Spring Break of her Senior year of High School.
I found this journal entry on the computer: "My mother forced me to grab my baggage and fly to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. A wonderful woman by the name of Ada became a new mother. I took time to build on myself with a different type of guidance that both my real mother and I knew I needed. I now find that the real feeling of accomplishment comes with waking up in the morning with eagerness and desire to full-fill dreams of the prior night. Happiness is what I found and is what will lead my life. I am now liberal and free and have a great deal of my own morals which are carried with a head held high. I'm smart. I'm a good person. I love and follow my own dreams and I'm so proud of that." ^Dana, 3/17/1989-11/1/2010^
Thank you, Mar, Ada and family, not only for Boris, a wonderful long hair weimaraner but especially for what you gave my daughter, Dana (and I), accepting us and making us feel we are a part of your family.
