Would any spanish members be willing to help me. My daughter is at University and is studying spanish and french. Next year she will be travelling to spain for 6 months as part of her course. She needs some info on accommodation to rent near to University's in spain and she will need some sort of work to help pay her expenses.

Hi,
Like us Rute Paredes lives in Portugal.
we both live about 700 km from Madrid!
usualy the universaty's in Spain have their own houses near the univertity for the students and if not maybe you should contact them for some advise.
where in spain is your daughter going? we might know of someone living nearby.

I know she is looking into where abouts she wants to go and I think she is thinking about southern spain. She has been told that the houses owned by the Universities are not good to stay in. That is why we are looking for private accommodation.

I know that abroad almost all universities have very nice houses for students.
You haven't seen our students' bunkhouses:))) I really think accomodation in students' village would be great!
I could reccomend her to ask it at university, usually they even have pics in their www about it.
Other thing is how much money is your daughter going to spend for a rent:) If it doesn;t matter, sure - then I also would rent a nice apartment:)
