Hi everyone
While many of you were in Poznan enjoying yourselves at the meeting and the show, we were celebrating our daughter's wedding.
Our sweet friends Jurate and Povilas sent us a special parcel for the wedding. There was a bottle of a very alcoholic drink that is a national drink from Lithuania to drink on the wedding day; a pot of Lithuanian honey (yum) for the honeymoon; beautiful amber and silver pendents for both Claire and myself and hand made lace caps for the twins.
Claire and Simon had their 3 dogs (Faith and Blu short and longhair Weimaraners and Baci, their Eurasier) in the wedding. The dogs were very well behaved. The weather held for the outside ceremony but not long after the drought broke and we had a huge rain and thunder and lightening storm. There were over 400,000 lightening strikes over the state. What a fireworks display to celebrate the union. Here are some photos.
