Hi, my name is Lois and I have been actively involved with Weimaraners for 28 years. My main interest is showing and tracking but have had considerable success in obedience over the years. I am qualified to judge Gundogs (Sporting) and Terriers and have judged in most states here and in NZ. I only breed occasionally and have been very lucky to breed some big winning dogs. My dogs are housedogs and are my 'babies'. My daughter is just as crazy as myself when it come to the dogs! I have 4 Weis here and she has 3 at her place, 1 LH, 1 Wei and 1 Eurasier. Lois

Hi Lois and welcome from me (Nina) and my 3 (soon to be 4) weims. Sounds like you have a happy dog friendly lot there.
We are in the UK, near to Liverpool. We have had a problem with Mast Cell Tumours in our only litter (20% affected so far) and as a result of this I am starting my lines over again by importing a bitch from Poland - she has a good mix of Polish, American and Aussie lines, and she is from true dual purpose Weimaraners, who are also extremely good on the eye, and have some of the best lines I could find. Anya (my puppy) is still in Poland with Magda and Krzysiek at the moment, but will join us later in the year under the pet passport scheme. Anya is already showing some of her mothers fantastic traits .

I Lois and welcome here. I'm the proud owner of 2 LH's, one Dutch show champion and the other one on the way!!! We're hunting, fieldworking and tracking as well!! So true versatile dogs I think.

Hi Lois, welcome to the board! Our Audry (Grausturm Love Is A Drug) has a Waldwiese in her pedigree, Aust Grand Ch Waldwiese Jump the Q, LHC, to be more precise. Could you tell me a bit about this dog? If you have the time, of course. Please feel free to start a new topic in the Bloodlines section.
Welcome, it is great to have you join us.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Yes Irena I bred 'Stanley' Unfortunately he never became a 'Grand' Champion, just a Champion. Neverthe less he was a lovely boy and had some great wins for his owner. His sister - Flynne is still here with me, and his mother 'Rumour' (who still looks and acts like a 3 years old ) Lois Visit Our Homepage www.bigbutton.com.au/~lrichter/welcome.htmOur Dogs are Proudly Sponsored by Pedigree, As Part Of The Pedigree Gold Members Program

thanks Narelle! That was a great litter from Vader and Ash. I noticed a bitch from that litter just passed her tracking prelim. Vader sure has passed on his 'tracking gene' LOL.
