Hello Everyone, so glad to be on this board, I am Marylou Mader from Milwaukee Wisconsin USA, the home of Harley Davidson and 2 Weims "Nancy" and "Noodles" I show in Breed competition and teach conformation and basic obedience classes. We have a specialty show coming up the end of July, "Noodles" is showing in the Bred By Exhibitor class and already has 6 AKC points. He is just 2 years old and begining to mature quite nice, I wish I had photo's, but I'm not quite that technologically advanced yet. I love hearing of all the shows in Europe, I have been to shows in Germany and Portugal.

Hello Marylou.. I live way WAY down South in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. I have 1 weim Boss.. and 3 GSP's ..Alli.. Spy & Betty.. Boss has his Australion Champ title... and loves hunting... Alli has her Champ title too and is the mother of my 2 babies who are now nearly 16 months old... both Betty & Spy only need about another 15 points each for their titles.. All have won Class In Group & Show awards... Spy recently winning Best In Parade( no Champions) and Betty & Spy went Best Brace in Parade too... That was fun as you have to gait the 2 around the ring at the same time and stack them like you would do one... so it all has to be done in unison... on one lead..... Hope we hear lots from about your dogs.. Cheers Maree.. www.acewildkennels.com/

Hi Marylou--I'm in Kansas City, Missouri area--the "other" Harleytown(we have an assembly plant here) I have Enka(Weim), Dixie Belle(German Shepherd) and Riga(German Shepherd). I'm in the Weimaraner Club of Greater KC, the German Shepherd Club of Greater KC, and Heartland Weimaraner Rescue. Your two Weims sound wonderful! I'm sure you have a lot of fun together. The WCGKC is having our specialty the end of August at the American Royal, Hale Pavillion---it would be GREAT if you could come. Let me know if you'd like more details. Irena will be coming over with Audry to live before very long and we'll be showing her so there is a possiblity we'll meet somewhere sometime. Most photo places will process photos now and put them on CD in digital form for you--you might check into to that--we'd all like to see your Weims(and you too) You can see us at www.mrwetdog.com/ GOOD LUCK with your shows!!! Fred

Rute wow, I hope all is well with you, I think I've seen some great wins on several of your dogs. I had lost your e-mail address when my computer crashed, so good to hear from you. Let's keep in touch... I'm so glad I found this forum, it is very nice to have all the ideas to hear about all of our friends in Europe and abroad...

Fred from Kansas, hi back at you too. Years ago Milwaukee was famous for our Brewery's now I guess it's the Harley Davidson, I own a 1972 Shovelhead, I would love to come to your specialty, we are having ours July 29, and the end of August our City has proclaimed Dog Days, I am on a committee to re-vamp our ancient Band Shell, which Harley Davidson has given us $50.000,00 to help with. Does your club have a winter show? Boy this summer is very busy for us... I will love to hear all about your shows etc take care...

We are a fairly small club, we have one specialty show per year, and two field events(WCA ratings, and AKC trial-back to back) spring and fall. I also work with Gail in Heartland Weimaraner Rescue--and SHE keeps me hopping!
