I would love to know what is the best and strongest crate for Weimaraners,

Hi Ilana I have bought soft crates through ebay at very reasonable rates. The ones I have bought are from Australia but I am sure you will find some a bit closer LOL. When I bought mine I had to do a search for 'dog tent' not crate. They are great for well trained dogs and much lighter to carry than the metal ones. If you can get the ones with the metal frames as they are sturdier than the others. Good luck. Regards Lois

I have emailed you some details that are on ebay. One of the companies ships worldwide, the other one doesn't mention it. Might have to hunt around for one that ships world wide.
I have banned myself from going on ebay for a while. LOL Just bought another 'collectible' today - a lovely plate with a Pointer on it. I have bought some wonderful things with Weis on them. I love the old German / European things.

Hi Ilana Try www.doghealth.co.uk/start1.htmI don't know what the company offers in terms of soft crates which are suitable for Weims but I always order all my dog bits and pieces through them because they are always so friendly and reliable. The order form asks which country the product has to be shipped to, so I guess they must ship overseas. Hope this helps.

As for ebay......that's dangerous territory for me too. I find myself getting really competitive, and will not be outbid. I lose all perspective on whether I need what I am bidding for so I figure it's better for my bank balance if I avoid it

I use a "portable pet home" for Atlas. I have had mine for around 1,5 years (still looks like new) and I use it as a regular crate inside (much nicer to look at then other crates I've seen) and at shows ++ It easy to put up (1 minute) and comes with a practical bag.
