Pet Insurance

Apologies if this is some where else on the board, being new I am still finding my way

Summer came with 6 weeks free insurance with the Kennel Club, but I would like some input re good pet insurance.

I currently have my 7 years old GSD insured with Tescos, but they do not have lifetime cover - any comments welcome

Hi Sue, always a good subject and changes regularly. I used to be with Tesco and am lucky I had no major bills for my last dog, Abbie, as it probably would not have been adequate.

I am now with M&S. The first year was cheaper than a lot of other quotes. When the renewal came through it had jumped and I started shopping around for a better quote. I would stear clear of E & L, very bad payers. Pet Plan is another very good one but a bit pricey, but worth it.

I would agree with Les. Quba's M&S insurance hiked after the first year but still worked out cheapest. They also offer LIFETIME cover which is very important.

I am insured via Pinnacle in Hertfordshire - a broker but they have ben fab with Zola - reasonable premoums, lifetime cover and pay out quickly.
