Hey, Fireside, thanks for advise. I check the ingredients all the time. The new food I bought for Brera, is called Natural Menu - I'm not sure it is famous, but they write the food contains 70 precent of chicken plus all other - corn, cereal, minerals, vitamins, etc.. I hope this one would be better for her than Royal - she did not like it much. I'm not sure about giving her raw bones yet - maybe she is too young? Won't she injure herself with a small chicken bones? Thanks for advise about ribs - I will do as well! Also I would never buy cheap food just to keep her alive! I am really trying, please, do not think, I am helpless:)

Migle,
Hi there - my name is Nina, I have had 4 weims so far, so not an expert, but have to say that with each pup there is always a worry for me - I'm just a worryer, thats all there is to it. I often forget to enjoy my puppies because I worry that I am doing everything right, and it's because of that I have posted.
She looks a lovely little pup, and yes she is thin in build, so I wouldn't worry about overfeeding her just yet. Let her enjoy her food - but try not to change her food over and over because this can do more harm than good. Find the best food you can afford, that you can get easily, and work with that. As someone has said, often of your dog poos a lot, then the food is not good quality.
Try adding kitchen scraps if you like (no onions, raisins, grapes ), and if you play or train her, add some treats into the game. As a real treat, add fish to her meal (mine have sardines in oil). Uncooked bones are not a worry, but never feed her cooked bones. If you can get tripe (cow stomach), it's real good for the dogs.
You should be able to see some rib, but not all. You have wormed her, so you know it isn't that, so I would say you need to try and get extra food into her. She will come good after her first season, and once you get the balance right you can begin to enjoy her.
good luck with her recent troubles,
Hope that helps, Nina

Migle, you sound like you are doing all the right things interms of feeding your pup. Sometimes you have to try different foods to see which one your dog does best on. Don't be afraid to try something new. I feed my pups raw chicken necks from about 5-6 weeks of age. I chop them up into small pieces about 2 cm in length so that they don't get stuck in the pups throat. I also feed dog biscuits to the pups so that they have something to chew on. All eating is supervised so that there aren't any problems. :-) Marg

you guys are perfect! Thanks again for all the advises! I give her cottage cheese, curd, she gets buttermilk etc, I'll try those chicken wings and necks:) After yesterday's cystitis (if it was that) medicine, she slept all night quietly, so I finally had a rest! big hugs, Migle
