Well, first of all I really have to congratulate this forum! It's always so friendly here and everybody tries to help so nicely - thank you so much everybody!!!
I know I'm still ahead of time but somehow I have to pass the time until the puppy arrives and I assume once he's here, I wont have much time. So I try to organise everything now.
When the little boy comes to me, he's 2 months old and will be enrolled in puppy school. After that we start the proper obedience and depending how he goes there we might do that more formal. But I also like to try other things like tracking, agility, flyball, maybe retrieving (not allowed to kill anything here in Oz). Is there an order I should try to do these things? I know for agility and flyball I should wait until he's fully grown but even then where do I start? Could I e.g. go to obedience on mon, do tracking on wed and agility on fri or will that be too much?
How did you start out and with what? He (and me) might not be interested in everything so we might just stick to 1 or 2 things in the end but I just want to give him every oportunity to show what's in him and of course become a champion! ;D
Any recommendations are appreciated!

I suppose showing would be first if you were thinking about showing him most people start that from when they are puppies (handling movement etc) I didn't and am sure Bonnie would have benefitted from being given a quicker start. Most people tend to concentrate on one discipline so have you been along to any of the classes and seen what they do and if you'd like to do it??? I liked the idea of agility but the reality is I'd hate all that running around would struggle to see the dog without an accident and much prefer it as a spectator sport On the other hand I love working Bonnie am totally covered in scratches at the moment from pushing my way through this years brambles and it was worth every minute!! Do you have working tests or anything like that where you are?? No game is used and nothing is killed its all mainly dummy work so it could easily be done.

Well, I'm not into showing, so I wont do that. I did agility with my Kelpie and absolutly loved it! I haven't done any tracking or things like that but I would be interested in trying. I just would like to give every opportunity and then decide what we stick with.
