Akatrana (alias Red Girl) went to her new home today, her people are so excited. They will show her and we will breed her in joint ownership later on after health checks. She is so pretty, I shed a little tear when she went.

I don't know how you do it. I could never breed as I don't think I would let any of them go EVER........
She's a little cracker isn't she. Is her mummy missing her too?

No Halley was pretty happy to stop them chewing her at 6 weeks. Some of her bothers and sisters also went this weekend so I am down to 5 from 11, it is incredibly quiet out there............and feed time will be sooooooo much easier.

She is a beauty---and you'll still be involved with her too. Are they close enough that you might dog sit for them once in awhile? You can be the Grandmother that spoils her rotten then sends her back to mom and dad. LOL

No Fred, sadly they are 8 hours drive away, hopefully we will catch up at some shows if we both coincide. Talking of Wetdogs...........lol...........the weather was so hot today I had to hose the big dogs off, summer is early here this year and Im running out of water fast. The pups have enjoyed being in their big grass enclosure, Im happy with the setup, one of the easier ones I have had I think.

She's magnificent!!! I like her very much. Since Blaster is a dad I regularly visit my grandchildren and though I'm not actually their owner I can't even think of giving any of them to anyone- I have an impression that no one will be good enough for them, no one else will care about them as he/she should and I can't imagine that one day they will go away!!!AAAaaa That's terrible- I got engaged with them so much. The're so sweet. They start opening their eyes now. Cheers Magda&Blaster

Thanks all for your kind comments. I love her to bits too but I know the people she has gone to and they will be everything she needs. The time comes to give the pups I am keeping their own special attention..........................

Cyd's litter (an AI litter sired by Multi Champion Ashlaren Caipiroska out of Cyd's imported girl, NZ Ch Ashlaren Queen of Hearts) produced several outstanding puppies and I am sure Cyd will be keeping us informed of their progress. This little girl, Greyflyte Queens Akatrana, is just beautiful and I could have easily stolen her, shipped her from New Zealand and brought her back to Australia! What does the word Akatrana mean Cyd? Is it Maori for something? Looking forward to more photos of the other babies! Proud Grandmother Lainie Ashlaren Weimaraners, Australia.

Thanks Lainie and Jurate. The new owners chose Akatrana as her kennel name, I dont think it has any meaning. Her call name is Cherry which I think is adorable also less of a mouthful.......
