I've been searching the archives at a local dog forum and gotten the occasional hint, but I'm not quite satisfied so I thought I'd come here, especially since then I know we're talking about activating the same kind of dog:

What are your best book suggestion for training bird dogs/Weimaraners, from puppyhood and onwards?

Websites, dvds etc. with hints are also welcome.

I have two great books about the fieldwork, but unfortunately they're in Dutch. Maybe our English friends can help out???

I had Point! Training the all season bird dog recomended to me on here and it is fantastic but assumes you have access to either plenty of wild birds or at the very least some pen raised birds.

DVD wise the Tom Brechney / Martin Deeley series are good, I watch them over and over. Be warned Tom's accent takes a while to get used too!:
