Hi everyone, Yesterday the Dutch Weim club held the annual natural ability test fieldwork - Tyler & I joined, but unfortunately we failed the test... And with a good reason! It was too difficult for us - the first time in a beet field and Tyler didn't really know what to do (are there any pheasants here.... ). But he found it really enjoyable that there were three judges in the field.... There wasn't a lot of game, so that was quite difficult for all the dogs, but the LH's did very well (congrats!!). All in all it was a very useful experience for us and the hunting committee is so kind to give all the participants who failed a second chance... In the afternoon I thought it would be a good idea to let Tyler swim (yes, it was nice & hot in NL!). So we went to the (river) forelands in Arnhem. Not with any "training intentions".... just to cool down and have a nice swim. And what did Tyler do.... (fortunately I brought my camera) First, pointing at a hare And second, pointing at a pheasant.... Since three weeks he is pointing (he is almost 11 months old), so you can imagine I was very happy that I brought my camera....
