We had the pleasure of doing a little bloodtrack with Marjolein when she came over here just over a year ago, and ever since then we have tried to get the things that we needed to continue doing it. Well thanks to some great friends we managed to get the blood, the deerfoot, and some idea of what to do.... Anya was fantastic!!!!! we are so proud of her. She tracks real fast, and real sure, and she found all of the things we put down for her (in fact she was so keen to carry on tracking, she wasn't interested even in her chicken wing reward). Here are some photos (we don't have many as Anya was too fast!!!!!). img401.imageshack.us/img401/5151/p1000618zx4.jpgimg179.imageshack.us/img179/2971/p1000623jc8.jpgimg118.imageshack.us/img118/3104/p1000620zu0.jpgWe hope to get going again as soon as we can!! If anyone has any footage of a bloodtrack taking place in their part of the world - please share.... Nina

BIG congrats for You and Anya, Nina! I know Anya's litter mates and I know they are fabulous dogs with huge hunting passion...and more...I have this privilege to own Anya's half brother (the same sire) and he is as well soooo good in tracking (and he has so strong point) ! Best wishes for the future with your wonderful girl! I hope to meet You in Poland someday ;D! Regards, Ania and Fenomena Team

Hehehe, I would love to!!! I'm going to do an advanced tracking course in 2 weeks time. It's all about laying tracks, recognising tissue in the wound beds and stuff like that. I'm really looking forward to it. If you're interested in some bloodtracking training, I'm afraid you have to come over again Nina and Tasha, LOL!!!!
Nina, once again, well done!!!!!

yes and Ayla only has another month to go!! But she can stay at home if we go for training I can definitely supply deer blood and skin now so we won't have problems getting that, and now thanks to the field behind me I have hare as well I can't wait the inlaws have some fabulous hunting grounds near them and their next door neighbour has offered to take us out

Tasha just how mcuh blood etc can you supply and when? I am having a nightmare getting supplies - even Venison farmers are ethically opposed to supplying me with blood etc - you wouldn't believe the answers I have had hehe. They don't mind killing the deer for food but they think I am mad asking for blood and tell me so in no uncertain terms hehe. Nina

I like the training on the bloodtrack also very much, but i don't use blood of the deer or elk. Foster and I train with cowblood and that's going very well. When we have an exame with wildblood, than it's not so hard for him to find the track, I hope. But bloodtracking is one of my favorite parts of the hunting training. Gr. Ina
