Thought I'd post this one: Seems like there is indeed enough room for personal preferences as far as Weim heads are concerned! Left: Dominica Silver Ghost z Bobiecinskiego Lasu "Dominica" (After Nani's Knight Rider x Pola O'Czerta), imp. Poland
Right: Scuba's Highland Park ("Roger") (Greydove Nordic Liaison x Scuba's Barfussige Barbara), imp. Sweden.
All titles omitted.

OK, here's one for the hairies! This is my girl Lara, the profile shot was Sydney Royal 05, the front on was Sydney Royal 04. She had had enough in that one! I don't really have my dogs documented that well, you have inspired me. I'll go and take lots of pics! Wendy

Hi Irena. A heavy head is one that is too broad in skull, too deep through the muzzle and usually has too much lip and loose or 'hawry' (showing too much haw) eye lids. Much like a Bloodhound as someone said. To describe a downface,- think of a Bull Terrier's head. The nose slopes downward and in a lot of breeds it is often accompanied by a fall away of the 'top skull' - the top of the head stops too short. So hard to describe without pictures. I will try and fine one for you!
As for the slight bump on the nose (Roman nose) that is very common and perfectly acceptable in a Weimaraner. It is a breed characteristic for German Shorthaired Pointers.
Hope this clears this up for you.
