o becherovka rules:)))) Iza, surely, we'll have a driver ( Tomas is going to drive us:) But cakes fits to everything:) We shall also bring national cake, chocolates:) Potato chips fit well to beer:) But I am quiet sure, that it would be freezing to drink beer, so stronger drinks would be in first place:))))

You are all so funny! I love to read all your comments and wish I could go just to see everyone sitting with leashes and dogs and cans/bottles of beer and snacks!! LOL Soccer does not permit any of that.. so actually the sport is rather boring! Don't forget the wine from Germany, (gluevine) I can't spell it. It is a nice warm sweet red wine that is great for cold nights and snacks! Drink something for me! jai

jai, that german wine is gluchwein I guess, and it is special wine for a drink "hot wine" - they make it with various spices ( e.g. cinamon, vanille, kardamon, cloves) and heat the drink. This hot wine is very popular in Lithuania too, especially on winter holidays:) But it is good everytime when it's cold:) Jai, we won't drink till we're dead, the show is on the next day! But yes, alcohol is forbiden here too at the sports events:)

Not at all. Just be careful when the judge asks you to do a straight up and back. LOL

Hi All the European Weimaraners going to Poznan. This show sounds fantastic and you all sound like you will have the best time there. Wish some of us Aussies could join you, we will have to save our money for the next European World Dog show. I think next year it is in Mexico so it will be more for the Americans. Hope you have as much fun as we do at our big shows in Australia. I wish you every success with your beautiful dogs, can't wait to see photos posted from the meeting and the show. OK. I will add south direction in the evening. But as you can see E261 from Rosnowko goes along Baltycka street! If you keep going E261 all the time you can't miss this right turn into the wood. E261 goes along WARSZAWSKA street, look here: www.weimaraner.pl/meeting/meetingwest.htmOf course you can also take another way but I will explain it in the evening.

Of course you can also take another way but I will explain it in the evening. No, the other way is too long and too complicated. It doesn't make sense to take it. Keep the E261 and you will easily find the place. Have you checked the way? Is it already clear to you? If you have any doubts please ask once more. (Ilana - will you have your crates with you? If yes, remember that you can take your dogs for the meeting and keep them inside by the fireplace for the most of the time. ) Well, our dogs are used for hunting and they are accustomed to be outside for a few hours even if it is very very cold. But I understand that dogs coming from another climate zone can freeze here.

I will have the crates in the car but i will take only Roy to the meeting, Zippo is 8 1/2 years old and i think it will be better for him to stay in bad in the hotel and rest from the flight , anyway it will be much easy for me to take care for one boy with so many weims around LOL

Well everyone have a splendid time and I hope the weather holds. We had our first real snow storm today and it was cold and wet and very white. The girls had a soccer game and they had a blast playing on the field.. and that was during the snow ball fight not to mention the game!! Anyways, while you are all in Poland I will be in Italy for a European Soccer Tournement. Good Luck to all.. Can't wait to see the pics!! Jai

Dear All, THE DAY is coming.... Here are next details: 1/ We haven't had snow in Poznan yet. So be optimistic..... 2/ But on the other side you are advised to take warm winter clothes (don't forget about caps and gloves ) 3/ We plan a pot of hot soup and a barbecue party. (To tell the truth I have never had a barbecue party in November....but we are brave, aren't we?). So be ready for hot sausages.... Of course there will be coffee&cakes too. 4/ Irena is working on some outdoor activities, so you don't freeze outside. 5/ After having made some cost analysis we ask you to pay 20 PLN or 5 EURO/a person to refund meeting expenses. The amount can be paid at the meeting. 6/ I remind you about crates. Dogs can be kept in a fireplace-room only in crates. The other dogs can stay indoors too but outside the fireplace-room (in the corridor). 7/ We all are waiting for your national specialities: sweets, chocolates, beer, other drinks, and anything tasty, that can be eaten or drunk ;D! 8/ We had winter time change. So it is still brightly until 4 pm. 9/ Pray for the weather. I am serious! ;D to be continued.... Iza

Surely we'll take nationalities with us:) I have checked www.weather.com Poznan, so the weather seems to be nice ( without rain or big cold) Interesting, how many of us are comming in real:) I should buy a real map of Poland, because we are going to a hotel first - jus to clear things up, and then to the Antoninek, so ..
