There are no show "devices" like crates. When we were at Berlin show there were a few crates for dogs. In Poznan there aren't any. There are no benches either so you must bring portable seats with yourselves. Otherwise you will have to stand all the time! There are benches and chairs at the BIS ring. But I am sure they will be all occupied.

yeah, we surely carry everywhere those portable chairs, cause I still have attended only few shows in Lithuania, but no chairs or anything like that was available. Also, in my case, it's very hard to walk arround everywhere with a dog, so it is better to leave him in a crate, just look after - if somebody's gonna steel it??

FialCo, don't worry. We all can sit in a group by the ring at look after all dogs. When somone will go to the toilet or go shopping the others will take care of his/her dogs. I am sure you can always count on each others help.
As for the food on the show. I don't know if they prepare some more bars or restaurants but there are two main places on the fair ground: McDonald's and Pizza Hut. Usually there were stands with barbecue food, kebab, sweets, nuts and things like that. All these places are very crowded but that's some "food" solution.

Iza, thanks:) I will bring a cage ( or how do they call it) cause it is hard to keep her all the time - she is so active, and stumbles all the time! gosh, I am so so so waiting for this event! We've decided, we should leave 12-1 friday night, to be in time on Saturday:)

Where do you start your journey? What way do you intend to drive? Maybe I could suggest the fastest route?
Do all of your "team" stay at Strzeszynek?
Have you all got your ring numbers?

I am not sure about Jurate, but me & Migle - we've got our ring numbers already. Migle, I have a proper map of Poland. So no need to buy - I'll grab it along with me. It's just so winterly cold these days in Lithuania (right now it's minus 14C in my area ;D).... I hate this cold Just really hope Poznan will be much wormer.

Wishing you all a wonderful time in Poznan! How much I would love to be there and meet you all and catch up with some of the terrific Weimaraner people I met recently in Poland, Belgium, Sweden and Ireland. Have a lot of fun and laughter and enjoy being together with other people who share your interest and love of Weimaraners. You are all winners because you have chosen the best breed of dog in the world! GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!Lainie Ashlaren Weimaraners, Australia.

thanks, Lainie! Your kind words inspire us:* Iza, we are planning to take route to Suwalki, Olsztyn, Torun, Poznan. What could you suggest? right now I do not have a big map of Poland, but at home -yes:) And yes, we are planning to find that Strzeszynek first, then come to the Antoninek. But I need to find out where that hotel is!!! Adatele, I have one too! And - good news, they are saying, it is getting warmer!!! We all have received participation numbers.

Oh, I have a very important question about import dogs to Poland. They say we need some special sertificate in Polish stamped by a vet to let the dogs in Poland. Is that true? And if yes, where do I get such a paper?

actually, as I know, there must be a sign in a dog's passport that he is healthy and ready to travel. Just few hours ago Irena wrote me about that certificate, which concerns only a non EU member states. Now, the weather seemed to be nices few days ago, but now I see, that scattered showers are comming on saturday=sunday:(
